By law you are supposed to register with Selective Service on your 18th birthday and carry the card until your 26th birthday ....that was the law when I was that age...I don't think it's changed?

Don't recall any kind of card or anything like that, but I'm sure there was something either when I turned 18, or maybe it was tied in with registering to vote or getting my drivers license. Really can't recall anymore as I'm a little past 25 now.

I don't have a card but I'm registered. Pretty sure I couldn't get any financial aid for college without signing up for the selective service.

And people say he has no power!

I'm pretty sure you have to sign up for selective service when you're 18.

I Have the card. I had to use it when applying for police departments to prove I registered.

I don't even remember getting the card! I'm sure I did, but it's irrelevant now cause I'm way past 26.

I'm not sure, but I got a friend who's like 23. We talked about this not long ago. He said when he turned 18 they sent something to him. All he had to do was mark yes or something, and send it back. He said his mom even did it for him.

Do you remember registering?

If I say no do I go to jail or something?

I honestly find it hard to believe that I can go almost 3 years with avoiding "registering" for the draft without some sort of notification.

I was told constantly that you can go to jail, but you won't necessarily. It's like they're not actively out for you if you haven't. Though if they find out that you did not, you could be charged.

Haha I'd get it taken care of just in case. Maybe your parents were sent something, and they filled it out? Not sure how they do it these days.

So that was a star-studded flight to Stockholm. Forsberg yes but two rows ahead of me was Tiger Wood's Elin. She was not shy at all, showing lots of skin, ha. She always seemed a bit bland to me in pics but in real life...movie star hot.

she nodded yes to both questions.
