Nhl.com made a nice article about it too,

They should both drop gloves imo
Also, on a side note, check out the comments section below, I think we may have uncovered the identity of jags6868, the writing style certainly is strikingly similar by this AEC

Selanne and Jagr haven't played much against each other though, Selanne always in the west and Jagr in the east. 1-2 games per season.

If you would've told me 5 years ago that both these guys would be still playing, and in the same division, I'd call you crazy.
With Ott gone, and Jagr and Whitney coming in, it's the first time in a long time I don't hate the Stars.

Even with the snow storm....there should have been at least one game on by 8 maybe in the central? It's a lockout shortened season, what type of bush league scheduling is this?
Boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooored.

No one on the east coast since both teams are some strange western conference teams.

Amazing to think that in a shortened season, we're treated to a single game on a Friday night.
30 teams in the league, and apparently 28 of them have other plans.

You have to take into account all the other events. (Basketball games in the same venue as hockey arenas, concerts, etc.)

Well, I have nothing else to watch tonight, and it's not like I can go outside in this weather, so yeah, I'll buy into the Selanne vs. Jagr narrative for the night.

Why do none of these pacific teams have a proper rivalry with each other? They've been around for a decade+, it's kinda sad.

Oh that's interesting perhaps the media is making it seem more wide spread than it is. For example didn't Boston basically shut the city down?
Here in southern Ontario we got about 10" with quite a bit of blowing and drifting.

Oh yeah, I live in the capital region in NY. Schools were closed all day, people thought all **** would hit the fan. *Maybe* 3 inches right now.
But yeah, Boston and Ontario will get hit more because they are getting more of the storms. There were 2 storms, one came down from Canada, the other came up the coast.

Ducks with terrible break-outs. Stars crashing the net.
If this is the only game of the night then why aren't NBC Sports showing it? I have a local feed going atm from Dallas I think.
