Clowe looked better though. His anticipation and boardwork still need work, but he's getting better.

1 for 25 on the PP that was #2 in the league last year is pathetic. Never thought I would miss Matt Shaw.

How long is the streak? ROFL Nemo.

Gladly would trade a few PKs for a few power plays, we're awful on offense. :/

You mean PP. 1 for 25 on the PK would be REALLY bad.

Well, he said "captains", so I took that to mean Thornton and Marleau. Although, I agree that leaving out Clowe was a huge mistake, since he had a really good game today. Hopefully those Philly scouts were in the building.

There are some positive to take from this game. Clowe looks better and TMac showed that he is willing to sit Murray for Braun, Demers.

It was a good game. The Sharks played well and the Coyotes played a perfect road game.

Overall, I thought the team played well. The 4th line still sucks, though I thought Galiardi looked okay. Marleau also still looks disinterested. He's usually good on the road so here's hoping he snaps out of it.

There's an awful lot of oh-fensive dead weight on this team

The Hawks game, the Oilers game, and both games against the Ducks (just to name a few) were all entertaining.

We played fine. If Clowe could've put in one of his 50 chances in front of the net, we would've had the 2 points.

Anyway, I think this game was a positive overall.

-Burns played well, considering he hasn't in 10 months. We certainly missed him.
-Clowe had a great game.
-We gave up only 20 shots on goal. That's great team defense. Hopefully this shows the coaches that Murray isn't the glue there.
-We went 100% on the PK again and looked good doing it. Again, hopefully this shows the coaches that Murray isn't the glue there either.
-If Sheppard-Handzus-Wingels can play as well for the rest of the season as they have the past two games, we're in a good place.
-Shooting percentages, people. We'll rebound. We all knew regression was coming. Possession dominance is the most important thing right now.

Sums it up. Jamie Baker making good points about the Coyotes being content sitting back in the 3rd.

Not a good game, but not a bad game IMO.

Sharks pushed the play for the most part and the D looked better after the first 20. Was nice seeing burns back in the line up and I was also surprised to see Murray not suited up.

This was a game Mike Smith won for the Coyotes IMO.

I heard Marleau's radio interview in the 2nd intermission and right now he actually sounds more outgoing, upbeat, and personable than ever in his career. Possibly gearing up for contract negotiations next season?

On the ice, Marleau looked much better today than vs Chicago. I predict improvement on the road too.

Marleau was really good defensively this game. I postulate that he wasn't able to be as aggressive because it was a tight checking game. But it could just be me trying to defend my favorite player. I thought he looked fine.
