0-5-5 that would be the main reason.

that and 0-1-1 for thornton in the past 5 games.

he must think so, that or he was trying to pass it through the crease and smith just got in his way.

When we lose Koala shuffles things...

We should hope they are showing Clowe off and trying to increase value.

It might be less about Clowe on the top line, and more about Marleau on the 2nd line to spark scoring there. Maybe Marleau in front of Burns on the 2nd powerplay unit is also a temp measure.

Tons of turnovers, but it got better as the period went on. Burns looks rusty, but that's expected. Demers looks like he hasn't lost a step which is great!

I'm actually liking these lines. There seems to be fairly good chemistry aside from our lackluster 4th line. Gomez doesn't seem to be gelling with anyone.

I think Clowe as a shooting winger is a good thing because he was struggling way too much trying to be a playmaking wing on the 2nd line. Simplies his game and is the best chance for him to get out of his slump.

And woo no Murray! I wish we could try out this lineup against a less cloggy team, but knowing the staff they'll never give it a chance.

Clowe is much better without the puck on his stick.

He's much improved now that he's not the go-to puck distributor. Only problem is he still has one of the worst hands on our team. He doesn't seem to be able to catch routine passes, most of the time because it looks like he zones out and doesn't see it coming.

Without looking at stats, it seems to me that Boyle has been taking way too many penalties this season...

Really diggin Sheppard right now.

Wingels is a good 4th liner. Can't do that Larsson.
