Unless JOB needed maintenance there was no obvious reason to put Daugavins in. At least JOB skates in fast on the D and hits on the fore check. One of the commentators said he can play the PK but so does JOB. I also don't expect Daugs to be re-signed next year so they might as well give JOB the ice time.
