Scott Glennie

I feel like Scott Glennie is dangerously close to being labeled a complete bust, and was wondering what it would take for another team to give him once last chance. Would Dallas unload him now while he still has value? Or would they rather hold on to him in hopes that he eventually turns around his game?

His value is arguably at an all time low. He's struggled in Austin this season and I'm not sure, but he's injured too.

The Glennie for The Anton.

Shake the NHL to the core with what could be the biggest blockbuster....of all time. How often does one legend get traded for another?

Heard it here first, folks.

I'd take a sack of pucks for him.

I always wanted him on the Penguins, but yikes. Still wouldn't think it'd hurt as a reclamation project as long as the price is cheap.

His value is so low that it really doesn't make sense to do anything but hope he can turn into a useful player.

Start of the season id offer Rajala for a change of scenery. Rajala has looked pretty good in his AHL stint tho

Didn't he have great chemistry with Schenn in juniors?

Maybe the Flyers will take him.

I was thinking that, but Glennie is a long way from joining Schenn in the NHL. At the very least he'll get more playing time on the Phantoms than the Texas Stars.

Senators could do a similar reunion with Stone, but Stone doesn't really need him.

Pretty sure he's reached the complete bust stage now. If not he's a major reclamation project. His attitude in Austin has been terrible and he's been suffering with a recurrent hand injury. Honestly Dallas will keep hold of him to see if he can turn it round. No-one else will bother.

Forwards who have surpassed him in fan expectation since being drafted:

Alex Chiasson, Reilly Smith, Matej Stransky, Brett Ritchie, Austin Smith, Radek Faksa, Matt Fraser

99.99% chance he never makes the bigs.

I thought about it and I think the Stars keep him, we might need to replace our head coach and Glennie is high up on Nieuwendyk's list.

Philly would probably be the best place for him to go. Glennie for Couturier seems fair, they were both 8th overall picks after all.

What are his attitude problems? Sorry I haven't been following his AHL career much beyond his stats. I just remember him being talented in the WHL.
