Yes, I am sure.

I was being facetious. But right now those goals are pretty expensive. $3 million-plus per goal right now.

Where are you getting the $3M number from?

$12MM paid on July 1, plus $7.5MM per season. Take that total, divide by 6, equals $3MM-plus per goal.

I think our main problem is a lack of high-end wingers. Centers will be fine if Granlund keeps improving. The blueline is also fine as Brodin, Falk, and Scandella improve and step into bigger rolls. Our issue is that we don't have blazers to push back the defense or snipers to put the puck in the back of the net from all points in the offensive zone.

Parise is elite, but he's more of a short-range scorer.
Heatley has completely fallen off.
Setoguchi is never going to be that kind of player so get over it.
Bouchard is done.
Cullen is a top-9 player on bad team.
Clutterbuck has already peaked.
Coyle not suited for that role.

So, yeah. It's kind of looking like Zucker is our only hope.
Sorry but that's just wrong unless of course the Hurricanes were bad when they won the cup. He's not a top 6 but he's still a good 3rd line player.

If we get rid of Yeo now, it'll set this organization back another 2-3 years easily.

We canīt really know what would happen if we were to get a new head coach. We could improve or we could be even worse.

Wasn't including the $12M, knew I was missing something. Thanks.

Just to add, Parise is a star, but he is not an elite player in this league.

I didn't realize we were using time machines. Hurricanes won 7 seasons ago. Am I not allowed to rip into Heatley because he was a 50 goal scorer years ago?

No, no, no. That logic does not fly.

We are talking about the present.

In the present Cullen is still a good 3rd line center.

I believe Koivu is really a better #2 center. He's not skilled enough offensively or creatively to be a #1. I love the guy and his work, so don't mistake that. Not a hater on him at all.
That is controversial given that everyone sees him as a number 1 center. I do think he's a better #2 center but it is what it is.

You made a bad team with a slow defence look good tonight.

I'm not a Minnesota fan but some other coach can get their feet moving better than Yeo.

It will be hilarious when he gets canned because the Wild are tanking with the highest payroll in the league.

Yeo won't be fired this season. C'mon guys.

Not to mention, he has Fletcher's confidence.

So after we lose on Sunday (which, come on, it's Detroit, so that's just a given), they've got what I think might be their longest break of the season: no games Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. Yeo gets his time with the team to do whatever (coughbagskatecough) he wants. If he can't turn them around on the road trip that follows that break, I think there's a chance he's canned.

Everyone said it was the injuries and lack of talent last year. Well we fixed those and we're still a basement dweller. No offense, embarrassing defensive lapses, frustrated players, and pissed fans.

If I'm Fletcher, I'm seriously weighing that option. There're no more personnel moves he can make to make the team better, and frankly, Fletch is almost certainly canned at the end of this year if they miss the playoffs again. Remember that his decision to keep or can Yeo reflects on him just as much as player decisions do, and he's gotta take some action quick to turn this sinking ship around.
