From Johnstown, but since the Chiefs left a few years ago will have to go for Reading. I like Idaho out West.
Just as long as Alaska does make it to the finals I'll be happy.
Grew up hating the Erie Panthers and the Winston-Salem/Carolina/Wheeling T-birds.
Years after the Chiefs folded, the former T-birds franchise (renamed the Wheeling Nailers in 1996 after a lawsuit with the Seattle Thunderbirds) ended up doing a split schedule in the Chiefs' former arena for two seasons.
Also what is the Wranglers goal horn? I've heard it quite a few times and still have no clue what it is! It sounds like a truck horn but I may be wrong.
Walleye now, but I was an Express fan in their first and only season and their opening up shop is what caused me to start paying attention to the ECHL in the first place.
Rooted for the Chiefs for many seasons. Had to develop some affinity for Wheeling when the Penguins affiliated with them. It went against my better judgement especially when the Brooks Borthers started to get involved with the Flyers.
Walleye -- Season ticket holder for two full seasons, and their first season I was down there for about 20 games. Followed them on the road to a bunch of places, and have seen around about 100 games.
Now I've moved home I can only see them through America One.
South Carolina is Boston/Providence affiliate. Reading was our affiliate and Kirk MacDonald is one of my favorite minor league players of all time. Alaska has always been fun to follow/listen/watch. Actually went to Johnstown and saw Wheeling and Florida play, and enjoyed both teams. And Bakersfield was the first ECHL jersey I ever bought for my collection....
