Hooray.

My appeal to the Wings twitter account paid off.

I'm glad to see Nyquist but I am pretty concerned about Bert, a hospital visit for back pain for a guy who has had chronic back issues and is 38, this could be the end of his career, I hope I'm wrong though.

I like seeing Nyquist come up, not happy Bert's injury has forced him onto the IR.

He'll be on the 4th line while we continue to watch Cleary and Abdelkader in the top 6.

Maybe Tatar - Andersson - Nyquist will be the 3rd line? Didn't they play together in GR?

According to MLive, another Red Wing is hurting and may be out tonight. KH wouldn't give a name, though.

Is it possible we on;y see Nyquist if the mystery injury is sitting out? Fingers crossed it's Cleary.

It should be a no-brainer to use that line, when they already have good chemistry together.

I expected injuries, but this is getting ridiculous.

It's a bit of a risk to throw three rookies out at a time, even if they do have chemistry together. I do like how Tatar has played but I'd still be a little nervous letting Andersson center two rookies.

Really, it's absurd.

Lines are :

51-13-11
8-40-24
21-63-17
20-25-22

Plus Nyquist

And Bertuzzi, Franzen, Coliaicovo, B. Smith, Samuelsson, Gustavsson, Helm, Mursak plus mystery player #1 are all out.

Perfect world, he replaces Gator in the top six. If they're happy with having a grinder playing with Zetterberg as the answer, they're crazy.

Awesome news.

It would be a shame for Bert to leave this way. I hope you're wrong, too.

Yeah, would hate to see Burt go out like that. We have plenty of others who could take a hike.

"In 19 career NHL games with the Red Wings, Nyquist has one goal and six assists."

Compare that with Cleary
