Hypothetical 92 lineup?

I have always wondered what the hypothetical line-up would be for the 1992 Olympics if the Soviet Union was still together and noone defected. Does that look about right, any corrections? Thanks

Krutov-Larionov-Makarov
Kamensky-Bykov-Khomutov
Bure-Fedorov-Mogilny
Semenov-Nemchinov-Kozlov

Fetisov-Kasatonov
Gusarov-Kravchuk
Konstantinov-Malakhov

Irbe
Shtalenkov

Seems like it would have been a very strong team.

Kamensky-Bykov-Khomutov would be the "1st" unit.

Watch how Russia won the 1993 World Championship - they were "the offense" of that team.
Also I am sure people like Yushkevich, Karpov, Khristich would still find their way into the lineup.

Kamensky - Bykov - Khomutov
Bure - Fedorov - Mogilny
Kozlov - Zhamnov - Makarov
Khristich - Larionov- Kovalenko

Fetisov - Tatarinov
Zubov - Kasatonov
Konstantinov - Malakhov
Gusarov - Kravchuk

Irbe
Shtalenkov

On reserve:
Semak, Lomakin, Khmylev, Nemchinov, Semenov, Butsayev, Kvartalnov, Zelepukin, Leonov, Prokhorov, Davydov, Kovalev (Alexey, not Andrei).
Zhitnik, Yushkevich, D.Mironov, Kasparaitis, Byakin, Ozolinsh, Shiryayev
Trefilov, Maryin, Khabibulin

PS: Krutov was deteriorating (getting fat) in his last year in the USSR too. I doubt he would have been still a top player in 1992.

I will create the best team Canada of 1992 too.

Roberts - Gretzky - M.Lemieux
Robitaille - Messier - Fleury
Hawerchuk - Lindros - Neely
Shanahan - Gilmour - Tocchet
B.Sutter

Coffey - Murphy
Stevens - Bourque
Smith - MacInnis
Desjardins

Roy
Belfour

(Yes, no Steve Yzerman and Joe Sakic. Not enough room there for another offensive center).

Hard to say which is better team USSR or Canada.

How about Adam Oates skating with Neely?

And where are Larmer and Graham -- they were terrific in '92.

And Ranford as an addition to goaltenders
