Surprised Gally wasn't knocked over, pretty strong on his skates. Just a great ****ing game, Leaf fans deserved this type of game.

Me? Paying attention to what exactly? His -6? That's a more telling sign.

The funny thing about this hit is that he hits 27 first and then 72.

27...72 Totally Double Dion.

He has really turned it up in recent times. Against winnipeg he was great as well, came in clutch.

hey guys this guy knows dion's plus/minus rating. Wow he must be some sort of hockey insider because everyone knows plus/minus is the most important stat in the history of statistics. All us real fans know how indicative it is of a players performance.

He's probably a scientist or accountant, the ease at which he desyphered that number was impressive.

Phanuefs best game was the PITTS game. Last night was a close second. I think Carlyle has simplified his game.

No, no, he's been dreadful all year, don't you read the comments here! Phaneuf has had a COUPLE poor games, and his shot accuracy has been an issue, apart from that he's been FINE.

Agreed. This is what i expect from Phaneuf. He physically makes his prescence known and pots a goal as well. I prefer this type of play rather then his impression of the Mr Invisible.

I know he was pointing at the puck, but I was really excited when I thought he was pointing at the guy he just nailed

I understand Gally was trying an ohl toe drag there but what in gods name was Cole doing there. I can't tell if he was trying to draw a penalty or if he was completely oblivious to everything around him. Either way he looks like a tool

lol... telling sign

if you actually watched all the games you'd see all the things he contributed to that didn't APPEAR on the plus or minus

oh yeah he scored a goal
of course it's the points that people only see

some people only watch hockey games on fantasy pool points
rofl

I can see how you would think that...I mean it would be impossible to "see" Phaneuf play if one is not watching the games which you clearly have not been doing this season.

Dion has been awesome - just embarrassing that some leaf fans post for a moral highground w/o watching the games. +/- as proof? Shows complete lack of hockey understanding or that you even watch games. Following media's storyline? ha! they aren't telling reality, they are telling the story that would sell the most.

We should be able to expect more from our 'journalists' but instead we have editorials everywhere.

Anyways... Leafs are fortunate to have Dion, his game has been exceptional all year, and is the furtherest thing from the source of our troubles. Strong skating, always physical, and hiding some much weaker components of our team.
