So my boss told me today that I asked him the stupidest question he's ever heard. Rather than point out to him that it is in fact his fellow employee's which prompted me to ask him it due to them not knowing (seriously, I asked everyone but him) I decided to just do it the way that makes sense to me and when it's wrong let them pay me to fix it.
This is in fact the third time I've had to re-do my work because of their inability to create a proper procedure, work which by my count will take me another 18 hours to re-do and will come to a total of 2.5 weeks of pay doing the same thing over and over again.
The mere fact that this guy is so power hungry that no one can send an e-mail outside of the department without first consulting him has helped me make up my mind that I will politely turn down their request for me to continue working for them part time while I finish up school.
I've worked at 4 different companies in the past 3 years and I've only had a 50% positive experience. Both of the Engineering companies I've worked at that deal with Manufacturing/Materials Research/Mechanical Engineering have been terrible places that dreams go to die within. The people are overworked, underappreciated and tasked with the same monotonous jobs day after day. Meanwhile the Biomedical Job I had with J&J was superb, a well ran and very positive place. And the start-up Ceramics research company had less than a dozen people, which gave me plenty of stuff to learn and contribute on.
You went to the wrong HS, I went to the same HS Sam went to, and we all know how smart she is......wait that doesn't help my case at all
Dude I went to a high skool where everybody's mom bought them an Escalade with spinning rims, the girls were fly, but dumb as ****. Let's just say I have very picky taste.
So the Doc thinks I have "Diverticulitis"...which I find a bit strange because I have more of the symptoms for Gallstones, and he was thinking before ordering my CT Scan earlier today that I'd need surgery.
Oh well, whatever keeps me from going under the knife I guess. But he wants to see me again tomorrow.
This has just not been a good weekend for good ol' RL. I'm literally in pain just from BREATHING, seriously, every breath I take I get a mild shooting pain to my upper right abdomen area, and when I take deep breaths? Forget it, I'm wincing in pain. Laying down on my back doesn't help either, that actually makes the pain even worse somehow.
I hope to God the antibiotics he gave me can alleviate this situation.
