Yep...And now they gotta go play at St. Louis tommorrow on short rest. Tough sledding.

At least we'll be a soft pillow for them to break a losing streak in 5 days.

I think we have a chance to win this because we only have to play against ONE "Edmonton Oiler"

Don't think there is a team I would rather see the Jackets beat than the Oilers. Something about the arrogant, holier than thou attitude so many of their posters take.

Maybe it's just me, but Gawd I would like to see a win.

Love the Rimer card! Got a real chuckle out of that.

You forgot "the puck sails into the netting - no further play." Gets on my nerves every time.

Meanwhile in Springfield, Johansen just scored putting in a rebound from the top of the crease. Falcons lead Portland 2-0.

See that's exactly what he needs. Start scoring goals consistently .

Unfortunately, St. Louis might already in the early stages of the inevitable Hitch tuneout. Allowed 5 or more goals in their last 3 games.

Edit: Make that the last 4 games.

This has been fixed along with the Oilers lines. I was out at that OSU/IU game watching the Buckeyes get completely outclassed in pretty much every aspect of the game.

Will I go 2 for 2 in my sports team watching today in that aspect? The Oilers are probably more desperate, so it could happen.

Guess who scored next....

David Savard. AHL is good for them.

I find that I dislike Brass on the power play almost as much as I do 5 on 5.

What's the point of having Nikitin on the PP if he can't get it on the net

Clearly, they're working hard, being gritty, going to the dirty areas, etc, etc...

They just lack the skill to hit the damn net!

I wholeheartedly agree. They work hard, but have little offensive skill up front. And sadly, that equates to more losses

I believe we may now see how a successful PP works. Watch, they'll probably get one shot and score.

Don't get discouraged guys. If Edmonton is known for anything it's their amazing defense and their top-flight goaltending!
