I really like having a right handed shot in our top 6. He's a great fit with Z.

Nail this Brunner kid down for at least three years. Developing a serious crush on him.

Damn. Ericsson showing some good poise with the puck, taking it in all by himself and making a good dish.

That guy is getting better every day. I love it.

Kopitar just abused Cleary there. Nice backcheck.

Cleary doesn't belong in NHL let alone time with Datsyuk

I love how it got chippy to end the period.

Did not like how Cleary got schooled by Kopitar on that goal, but credit to LA for not quitting in the last minute.

Yeah let's totally forget Bout the great saves before. Even the greatest goalies need competent players to clear out the garbage once and a while.

On the chance you're referring to, Cleary's careless offensive zone turnover is what led to the whole sequence. He had an identical sloppy turnover in an earlier game that led to a goal against. When you're the 3rd forward entering the zone, you cannot throw a Hail Mary across the ice. That's hockey 101.

And on the Kopitar goal.. 100% Cleary. Twice. Turns the puck over and then loses his man who eats up the rebound. Get him off Datsyuk's wing. It's embarrassing.

Through a screen. Kicked to the side, like a goalie should (not to the front). It was a perfect rebound. WTF are you talking about? Cleary blew his post.

Not to mention Cleary made the initial terrible give-away along the boards to create that chance at the net. He is absolute garbage. Has been for three of the past four seasons. Why Eaves is sitting over him is mind boggling.

That was a pretty bad defensive period.

15 shots against, and many premium scoring chances surrendered from the middle of the ice. LA had numerous odd man rushes, walked around our defenseman and got to the net on several occasions, and has forced a ton of turnovers. Lashoff was BRUTAL. Andersson was bad, and Ericsson didn't have a great period either. I thought White was ok.

A GREAT period by Howard, and some timely scoring has us up after 1, but this game is an L unless the D cleans it up.

Didn't you hear? Babcock loves Cleary
Holland loves all ex-wings players who are 30+ years old
