Adams can still be an effective 4th liner. Just not every night & especially in a compressed season. He needs breaks but instead we bench Joe Vitale.

Jeffery did more in 3 shifts and one brief power play shift at the end of the period than Boychuk has done in 2 games. Put him with Geno already

Yep. Get to the net. Simple really. Ugly goals. Score the pretty ones once you break Hedberg.

Maybe I'm wrong. I thought Sid was by the net just on the other side and Kunitz shot it from the slot. Like I said, I could be wrong.

If they keep the pressure on, they'll get a couple.

I don't know why. Boychuk really looks like he's hustling. I'm sure once one goes in for him, they'll come in bunches . . .

NHL goal scoring is exactly like water flow. His Goal Scoring Flux is going to be unreal

I'm calling it right now: Once the first one comes, it'll be 50 in 30.

EDIT: I just really wish Geno would use him more. That's the ticket. I'm sure of it.

Malkin has been the problem on his line. He needs to involve his wingers and the point men.

Um, o'k, not using Boychuk more is why Boychuk is a black hole. Got it. Thanks for clarifying.

P.S.: For all the people here who ******* and moaned before the season about Malkin getting to kill penalties, stop ********: Your wish has been granted.

This thread is more entertaining than the game so far. Sifting through the past few pages and getting a few chuckles from the sarcastic remarks, then chuckling again at the people not getting the sarcasm.

Damn, the Pens came out buzzing. They dominated the first 15 minutes. Hopefully we can get a PP goal to open the second period. But it's frustrating to be down 1-0 after playing so well.

Come on Geno, I completely understand why you cannot score at even strength, put one away on the power play.
