The lines and pairings will be updated tomorrow. Hall subbed for Voracek today on the top line and Simmonds returned. With back-to-back games, THU and FRI, the lines and pairings will be altered.

Must have skimmed over this in the other GDTs: Pronger 'likely to be placed on LTIR', eh?

So there's a chance he'll be in the lineup on opening night?

Thanks MSE. You have a typo in the status of Voracek.

I realize it's still preseason but I'm gonna be really upset if the Flyers don't come out swinging and at least make it a spirited contest. This not being able to win against the Devils since Richie left is really starting to bother me.

Of course I wouldn't know cause NJ doesn't broadcast their preseason games.

3-0, or 3-1 loss coming up.

with more of the same same as last 2 seasons+..

as long as Lavis here, some things are beyond change.

Let the meatball take over, at least we'd see lots of physical play.

Going to the Jets game, so this is a good one to miss. 1-0 Devils, shots 21-17 .

You think they would broadcast it, what was the reasoning behind them not broadcasting any pre season home games? Are they alone in this practice, as this preseason I have watched hockey almost every night and not encountered another team with a policy such as this.

Even though it is a preseason game, a win would boost moral actually beating the Devils for once.

Think Cory may be in there today

NHLDevilsPR ‏@NHLDevilsPR 12m
.@kruger159 Cory Schneider's at the starter's end of the ice this morning

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice 55s
Cory Schneider was first goalie off for Devils at morning skate. Martin Brodeur still out there. Will see what's up with that.

Yep, Cory is in

Rich Chere ‏@Ledger_NJDevils 11s
Cory Schneider will be in goal for Devils. Not Brodeur. Late change

Tom Gulitti ‏@TGfireandice 10s
Brodeur said has to go to Montreal to see his father. Flying there this afternoon.

Hope all is well with his family

Hopefully Laughton and Raffl get some looks on the third line with Read and Couturier. I like Talbot but I think that line could use someone more offensively gifted (not that I think Laughton and Raffl are the exact answer). Gagne would've been perfect.
