Can someone explain Bernier's contract status? Is his entry-level contract expiring this summer?

Johnny B is not on an Entry level contract. He is on his second year contract and will be a RFA this coming off season.

It's just a SPC? Standard player contract lol, I don't know what you mean by what kind of contract, one-way deal? It's just a normal one-way contract that he signed after his ELC expired.

You need to be more specific. It's just a standard Contract.

Like what is your concern with his contract?

Okay, so his entry-level contract had already expired a couple of years ago? (The contract he signed coming out of the draft)

Alright. One last question: How come he is a RFA instead of a UFA if this is his second contract?

UFA status has nothing to do with the amount of contracts you signed.

7 Years in the league, Or 27 years of age.

I really like Nolan, but don't want him on the third line and Lewis does nothing for me. I'd drop Nolan to the 4th and give Vey a shot next to Richards

Thanks. Always thought that you could only be a RFA if you were coming out of an entry-level contract.
