I'm hoping that some great communication is occurring between the coaching staff and Strome & Crouse.

Kinda hard since Strome's in Philly.

Dawn was in Tucson this week working with the Roadrunners.

What's going on with Strome and Crouse? Crouse I can somewhat see, not sold on him.

Dvo still on the 4th line, Crouse scratched, Strome missing another game. This is how the Coyotes develop their talent boys.

Yep. Hate this ****. It's like they are trying to get me to not watch the team again.

I think they are fielding what they feel is their best team right now. Going into a game with a 1-4 record - meh - not so bad, but a pending 1-6 record is going to get some attention.

Regardless of the development of the rookies and their futures this year, for tonight's game I think they feel this is the best lineup. I can agree with that

Even before hearing strome is scratched yet again I was on the fence about watching. If I do tune in, it'll be on my second monitor while I do something more productive with my time on the main monitor, like type "The NHL is not for development" over and over. Likely I'll just play shadow warrior 2.

Why is he in Philly? Does he need to work on his morning skate?

Yep, Dvorak looked good between Domi & Duclair and they created tons of chances, so what that they didn't put any points up, they would have given a 10 game stretch for them to gain even more chemistry.

Now, we'll get to see Dvorak for less than 11 min, Strome will watch from the pressbox.

The only good thing about this season is Chychrun, another LHD that is so much fun to watch.

Too bad our systematic offense absolutely crushes the creativity we saw from Domi & Duclair last season...and all it took was basically 1/2 the season, as Domi & Duke were both not as effective the back half of the season as they were early.

Just keep telling myself "it's fun to watch Chychrun & OEL" over and over and over again.

as a matter of fact, they might as well trade every single forward prospect they have, pick up Trouba, and bring up Wood and DT can play with all defenders.

He likes to play that way 3 on 3, might as well make it 1 forward and 4 dmen 5 on 5.

DT hockey at its finest.

For everyone complaining about Dvo on the "4th line" , I get it, but just to bring up some alternate perspectives.... 1st off, Tipp has been known to play an energy line a lot during some games, so is it just possible that Dvo's line didn't have as much jump the other night, and he was going with the Martinook energy line instead? Also, find me pretty much any rookie non-generational-talent center in the NHL in the past few years, and you will see players that were brought along slowly, not getting as much ice time at first, sometimes in a bottom 6 role. Recent players like Reinhart, Bennett, Barkov, Nylander to name a few off the top of my head were not immediately thrown in to a top 6 role with unlimited icetime. Just to use Barkov as an example, I think we can all agree that he is emerging as a very good 1C on a young team, in his first year he had about 20 points and in his second year he had about 35. I agree that Dvo should at least have a bit more ice time, but lets pump the breaks a bit on this guy's development. He's going to be good but he's not McDavid or Matthews.

Guys, give it a break already. These are kids were talking about here. A couple of years ago you all wanted the kids to be "overcooked", now you want them all to be playing top six minutes. Not going to happen, with any organization. The team is off to a slow start so you want to insert more rookies. Like that will help their development. If Strome and/or Dauphin goes in, guess who comes out? There are a few vets that have to pick it up and start playing like years past, and once that happens the team will start to win more games and give DT the flexibility to insert another kid or two. We are going to find out in a few more games who is headed back to junior, AHL or staying and that should help calm things down.

What do you mean "what's going on with Strome and Crouse". They are both rookies trying to find their way at the NHL level.

Don't lump me in with your "you wanted them over cooked" ****. I've hated just about every FA signing they've made.

Not a great FA market last summer. Who did you want them to sign?
