Also, is it bad that I didn't even realise Etem was playing till he threw his stick on top of the glass?

Not bad period under circumstances, especially after I've seen that liability of Staubitz on ice.

Why Bruce, why?

NoLovejoy was the worst trade the Ducks have made in a long time.

Perry looks like he has a case of the Getzlaf's. Getz has pep and Perry lacks it.

I just mean that the Ducks weren't playing as well as their record indicated to start the season. There probably weren't many teams that the 06-07 Ducks team wouldn't have destroyed.

Perry set up the rush and crashed the net on the PK then swiped the puck and got a good scoring change on the PP. He's snakebitten, but he's involved at both ends of the ice tonight.

At this point I would rather be squatting a 5th round than wasting a spot and salary on Lovejoy.

He was asked what his best skill was, his answer was his skating. Hes pretty much right because the rest of his game blows.

Personally, I'd happily give up a 5th for a defenseman who can fill in and then become a 7th D when Cam returns.

I don't mind Etem staying up, but I want him back on the 4th line with Rakell.

Palmieri-Getzlaf-Perry
Ryan-Koivu-Selanne
Cogliano-Bonino-Winnik
Beleskey-Rakell-Etem

To me, that's our best lineup

Lovejoy isn't brilliant by any means, but he's serviceable as the #6 at the minute, soon as Fowler is back he's the #7. We needed someone with NHL experience for that role.

Calling it "the worst trade the Ducks have made in a long time." is ridiculous.

I don't really understand why he gets so much hate here, unless people are expecting Fowler-lite from the guy who's basically a #7? I thought he's done a serviceable job so far.

You guys look good so far. Is Smith-Pelly still playing on the big squad?

Lovejoy wasn't brought in to be an 82 game defenseman. I'm perfectly fine with him being our 7th defenseman

Started the year with the team, played bad, and now he's in Norfolk (AHL)

I mean at both respective points in time. That team had a habit of coasting against bad teams.

Oh yeah, that's true. If Chicago came into that game with this record, I'd expect that Ducks team to really bring it.

#7 D man, not an 82 game defenseman. Do either of those translate to PK D man? They shouldnt but he is.

We can hang with these guys. Stay out of the box. The first period is statistically our worst and we survived.

And I suppose it's Lovejoy's fault he's been put out on the special teams?
