Yeah, I wanted to reach through the radio and smack him on hockey central. Saying that Prust should have fought Orr because Orr is the leafs heavyweight while Prust is the habs. Seriously Doug? are you that *** stupid to think that just because Prust is probably the teams "top fighter" that it automatically makes him a heavyweight of Orr's caliber?
Moron
Doug MacLean is the most irrelevant man in hockey. I don't even think he technically works for Sportsnet, I bet the security guards just let him through cause they feel bad for the crazy old panhandler banging his fists against the glass windows screaming "I drafted Rich Nash! I. Drafted. Rick. Nash!"

Craig Button is just as bad.
As for the Prust/Phaneuf debate, all four of the knuckleheads couldn't get it through their heads that Phaneuf initiated the fight. Especially MacLean. If Phaneuf didn't want to fight Prust he just had to not initiate. Just like Prust not answering the bell on Orr or MacLaren. Instead Phaneuf said yes... maybe... no and skated away. That was the issue.
There's a Montrealer playing for the Avalanche, Patrick Bordeleau, this guy is 6 feet 6 inches, 225 lbs UFA next season...Bergevin should try to get this guy, beat most of the heavyweights including Colton Orr.
If they don't get anybody, Prust is gonna be black & blue come playoffs time. Therrien played him like crazy against the Leafs but he won't be able to do that every game. Esp. when bozos like Armstrong and Moyen don't do anything to help him out and relieve him of some of the burden. Dude needs some help fast!

we already talked about this guy. I would take him on my team anyday
What the scoop with Zack Stortini? EA has this guy rated as a 6'4" 219 lbs tank who can fight and possibly play a small amount of hockey. Has anyone seen him play or know much about him? Couldn he be the Heavyweight were looking for? He's already with Hamilton its as easy as calling him up if so.

Yep, he's THE target for Montreal. Perefect player and hometown to boot.
I hope the Habs get one for the next time we face the Bruins. Bruins aren't going to take any prisoners. I'd trade White for a legit heavy like Patrick Bordeleau.

Why White? Why Moen?
We have Weber sitting in the Press Box collecting dust. And if we need a DMan to call up, we have Saint-Denis who showed he can play as well as Weber in the big show.

Let them all take 17 minute penalties. We'll play their ECHL team to wins.
Tonight's game is a great example of why we can't have an enforcer that can't play decent minutes.
Chara was going to jump Emelin regardless. No one was going to stop that. He was gone for 17 minutes, we scored twice and won the game.
Bordeleau plays 5 or less most games. The guy he'd be replacing is most likely White. Not sure in the long run it benefits us.
Besides who on Boston is going to fight our enforcer? Thornton and that's it. They've all but figured out that you don't fight guys below your skill set. Lucic will fight Prust as that is a fair trade off. He won't fight Bordeleau unless something out of the ordinary happens.
Having said that it would have been nice to have someone feed McQuaid his lunch tonight.
