Average has dropped about 1600/game.

Not unexpected.

But president/coach/GM Curcio says the team has exceeded attendance expectations.

A little off-topic, but what are the chances the Sharks move to the new arena in SF that will be home of the Warriors in a few years?

Sharks fan base is centered ~40 miles south (Santa Clara county). They have another 10+ years (30 year lease) on HP Pavilion (owned by the city).

"Not gonna happen"

There is absolutely no reason they would want to move to SF.

There's a better chance of the SF Bulls moving to Sacramento than there is a chance the Sharks move to SF.
