Souray's diss pushes Salo to retirement...

Officially he cites a "lack of motivation" but we all know that it was just Souray's "I got one word: Belarus" comment that tipped the scale.

Good theory.

Now maybe we can get Sheldon to spin his magic with Mats Sundin & Joe Thornton.

HAHA NO WAY, he had ALL to do with it. Don't you understand, Salo was demoralized after the disses, it's so obvious. Also it made him realise how bad he was, so good riddance. No more Tommy "I'm uber bad" Salo in the NHL . Good job Sheldon you did all the job, he made a guy retire because of his unbelievably great and original insult, that's so ****ing nice. He says he has aching hips, hehe, nice try Tommy, Souray OWNED you plain and simple. Go back to Russia! Carl'O your retarded...

I am obviously kidding, for those who didn't understand it.

I may be too romantic (or too old allready), but I find it sad that we talk about that funny ending between Souray and Salo instead of talking about the end of a good and interesting career. Salo was pretty good in his prime, spectacular and a workhorse. He was the best swedish goaltender of his area. Congrats. If you consider all the goalies (starter and backups) who played in the NHL during his career, Salo owns our respect.
