True. But it was fairly obvious that he made a pushing, cross checking motion with his arms. That would be directing the puck.

Only caught the 3rd period, and the Habs got royally screwed by the referees for the entire period, so I'm assuming it was equally bad the other way for the first half of the game.

Either way, the third period was all but given to the Lightning. I'm not sure how you can say that puck was not directed into the net with the glove, or that Price wasn't interfered with in his goal crease on Hedman's second goal. Large mistake.

I didn't see bad calls at the start of the game but this is pretty bad (in tampas favour) now.

HAHA typical NHL.

Why? The Habs should have left with a win ten minutes ago. The only reason this game is still going on is because the referees wanted it to and made sure it happened.

Oh, look, there's Tampa with too many men on the ice for 10 seconds. Wonder why that wasn't called? Hmm...

As a goalie, Hedmans second goal was as blatant as a puck misdirect with the hand as i've ever seen.

I thought the 2nd Hedman goal was good, but I'd like to see another replay.

The other penalty was a gift to the Bolts, and I'm not in the slightest bit disturbed by it.

Neutral fan here. Montreal is getting screwed big time.

But they're also playing like trash.

Perfectly valid excuse. That comeback is on the stripes and no one else.

Hedman's second really seemed like a guy that was stopping. I couldn't tell if it hit his hand at all, or if it went off his stick or his arm. There definitely wasn't conclusive evidence, so the call on the ice stands.

If I heard the referee right, it was ruled inconclusive which suggests to me that they were unsure whether or not it hit the stick or the glove. Personally, I thought the puck was directed in. I'm surprised how quickly the review took though. They only were out for a couple minutes it seemed, couldn't they even enhance the video?

With an OP like this I think it's safe to say that this thread isn't to discuss a specific event that altered the game. We don't need threads just because the officiating is bad...
