So far I think we are looking pretty good. We've had chances -- we NEED to bury some of those though!

Also, obviously BM think we could have went far because Nash would be playing for us if he wanted too (or so the story goes).

I like your thoughts...cept I don't think trading for Nash would have been the best decision for the current state of this franchise. I did want him at the time, along with any other star player on the market....but kind of relieved when we don't get one after seeing what the other team wants.

For what? we're not going to win the cup with our roster. We could make the playoffs, maybe win a round but there's no way in hell we're going far. Stay the course, give the kids the best development you can and move on next year.
If Anderson plays like he is we can win the cup. All we need is a hot goalie and some luck.

We're finally going to score a PP goal when it doesn't matter.

Would have been nice to get one early, the Sens have had jump in the 1st period for the first time in awhile.

Yeah O'Brien and Da Costa stuck out with Malkin and Crosby was always going to end bad.

A shame, because it was against the overall run of play.

No Pitt goes out and gets a PP goal, and all the hard work is undone.

Anderson is going to have to be huge.

Anderson's first test of the game coming up. Naturally, Pittsburgh's PP is sick.

I thought he was decent to start. Knocked a few penguins to the ice.

Since the Sens can't catch a break, a favorable bounce would be welcome...

Also, the fun begins on this board... The insight of fans will be tested... IMO we will see a lot of whining (like more than usual lol) but the facts are :

- Spezza, Cowen, Latendresse, Regin, Michalek are currently injured
- bottom-5 in NHL experience, age and salary cap

The question is : What are your expectations really?

Well most teams would have holes if they were missing Spezza, Michalek, Latendresse and Regin (all 4 were supposed to be top-9 forwards for us this year)

Also, I would not call Zibanejad, Silfverberg and Da Costa "AHL players", they're just prospects who have to graduate at some point
