The Indians starters cannot possibly be worse than last season. Every single one of them was at their absolute worst. Even marginal improvements probably adds 10+ wins.

My Predictions:

AL East:

Toronto
Tampa Bay
New York
Boston
Baltimore

Very tough division to predict, I think Toronto or Tampa finish 1st and the rest you may as well throw into a hat and pick.

AL Central:

Detroit
Chicago
Kansas City
Cleveland
Minnesota

Detroit quite easily takes this division in my opinion. I have the standings being exactly the same as last season, but I think KC might put it together this year if Hosmer bounces back.

AL West:

LA
Texas
Oakland
Seattle
Houston

I don't think the Angel's offense will get off to a slow start like it did last season, that's basically why they missed the playoffs. I just don't think Oakland's offense will repeat what they did last season.

NL East:

Washington
Philadelphia
Atlanta
NY
Miami

Okay, Washington easily takes the division in my opinion..but I think Philly could finish ahead of Atlanta. Utley and Howard are healthy, I think D. Brown could be in for a breakout season, and they added Michael Young. Unfortunately, Halladay looks like a complete mess..but they still have an excellent 1-2 punch with Hamels and Lee. I think Atlanta and Philly will be in a battle all year for 2nd in the division.

NL Central:

Cincinnati
St. Louis
Milwaukee
Pittsburgh
Chicago

Not much to say here, I don't think anything really changes in the standings except for maybe Chicago finishing ahead of Pittsburgh.

NL West:

LA
SF
Arizona
Colorado
SD

Interesting division, I think it's basically a toss up between LA and SF for 1st place. Arizona is decent and could possibly be in the mix.

AL MVP: Mike Trout
AL Cy Young: Justin Verlander
AL ROY: Wil Myers

NL MVP: Joey Votto
NL Cy Young: Clayton Kershaw
NL ROY: Shelby Miller

You have to at least give an explanation for Cleveland finishing ahead of Detroit and Toronto finishing last.

Just have a hunch Cleveland will take a big step forward and be slightly better (like 1 or 2 wins) than Detroit (maybe they'll get 85 wins on the downside). It's just a hunch with Cleveland but at the same time, yeah, they could not take that step forward and still sit 4th in the division.

Toronto? I just don't see it. Would be awesome if they made the playoffs and made a run and I know there is a ton of excitement, but to me they are at best the 4th best team in the AL East. For my money, Boston and Toronto are not on the same level as Tampa, New York (yes, even with the injuries), and Baltimore to me.

At the end of the day, it is a meaningless predicition thread. Could be Blue Jays/Marlins in the World Series for all we know.

The more I think of it..Toronto is the clear favorite to win the AL East. We easily have the best lineup and at least the 2nd best rotation, possibly 1st.

Logically impossible for any team run by Antonetti and Shapiro to succeed. Those two have bumbled and messed up the organization with ignorant, boggling trades.

Cubs won't finish last in the NL Central.

Risky prediction, I know.

But here's my playoff predictions:

NL Playoff teams: Nationals, Reds, Giants, Braves (Wild Card #1), Dodgers (Wild Card #2)
AL Playoff teams: Blue Jays, Tigers, Angels, Rays (Wild Card #1), Orioles (Wild Card #2)

I'm not so sure about that. Sure he had some stinkers but I'd say he has his fair share of wins. Most of them came a while ago but the point still stands.

Got the Al Central, West and Nl west winners correct. I actually got the AL West top to bottom.

Dead wrong about Cleveland, but i'm glad they're doing well. Boston, I got them wrong but don't care that they're doing well.

Yankees are still the class of the division, while the Rays pitching just cannot be ignored. O's have a great, detail orientated manager and two young superstars in the making in Bundy and Machado. Red Sox have enough pitching depth to make a run but will either need to add a bat or actually give their prospects a change. Jays just have too many holes and too many question marks to take seriously.

Bang on

These are always fun to look back on. From the team I cheer for the one thing I have learned is that when they are not considered by many to win the division they normally do. When I seen everyone and their brother picking Cincy to win the division that is when I was pretty comfortable that the Cardinals would win the division.

Although most people seemed to do fairly well with their awards predictions from looking at a couple of the pages.
