RR's refusal to change the first PP unit makes me
Instead of Ott-Hodgson-Vanek w/ Poms-Ehrhoff, just go with VHP and Myers-Hoff.
How difficult is that???

Apparently our 2nd unit is going to be Flynn-Porter-Staff with Myers and Leo at the point

Blueshirts 3
Swords 2

I have to go to this one? Sigh.

I don't think I've seen a win live in a few games, don't expect tonight to be any different.

Honestly I'm torn between watching this or the Team USA-Puerto Rico WBC game going on at the same time.

Usually when there's a choice between hockey or baseball, hockey always wins, but I'm fairly certain the latter will be more entertaining.

My interest has worn thin with this team. I'll probably go back and forth between this game and what ever game is on VS.

The Philly game really put the explanation mark on this season. Ennis gets hit from behind, Weber gets his face pummeled, and there's zero response from this team? Is there any loyalty? Ott ran his mouth all game and did nothing to back it up. He was a disgraceful terd. Foligno threw one or two hits, but didn't avenge his boy Ennis at all.

Kaleta has my upmost respect. He needs a letter. The guy gives it his all every shift, takes a physical beating to help his team win, and will fight damn near anyone for a teammate. It's a game like Philly that makes me admire the type of player Kaleta is.

John Vogl ‏@BuffNewsVogl
It appears Ville Leino will not be activated today for the Sabres. He is doing post-practice skating with Patrick Kaleta, T.J. Brennan.

Miller out.

John Vogl ‏@BuffNewsVogl
Ryan Miller has a sinus infection and will not play for the Sabres tonight against the Rangers. He will back up Jhonas Enroth.

Maybe Ryan has one of those "rare" sinus infections that have been known to last a couple months and make doing anything other than sitting on the bench very hazardous for his health.

Oh, I've heard of those. I think the technical name is, "Sinustankitus" or something along those lines.

Sinus infection to hold him out for a bit but have no lasting damage or effect on his play? wouldn't be mad

Sinus Infections do suck though. Not surprised he's sitting. They can be extremely distracting, especially to someone who is so reliant on being focused.

Looking forward to my last use of the company tickets, and watching a hopefully non-sucky game.
