I agree that was a bit of stretch
You didn't have to, everyone on the main board knows you're stretching it as far as it can go

That trophy had Weber's name on it, worst selection ever.

Subban is on that talent level IMO, the question is: Will he use that talent to become a Norris caliber d-man or will he float like Myers when the big contract gets signed?

Judging by his play now, it probably should have had Weber's AND Suter's name on it.

In all fairness he looked like absolute ass last night against the Bolts. Tampa's 2nd and 3rd goals were partially due to piss poor 1 on 1 play by him. I think the kid has all the makings of a great offensive d-man, but his defensive game is still seriously lacking.

Yeah, true enough. The recipe for PK has been two parts explosive breakouts, two parts laser slapshot and one part over-anxious screwup. We're hoping to tweak the ingredients as he gets older.

He's got all the physical tools but I question his decision making, not sure if that can be taught at an elite level.

Nothing new here.

Elite upside. But has been treated like an elite since he came into the league.

His defensive play was really underrated a year ago but I don't think it's any secret now that he's a great defensemen who is only getting better.

I have a rule that any player that is in his own nationally-televised ads is NOT underrated.

Can't believe some turds still think he isn't solid defensively.

I like his defensive game better than his offensive talent.

Subban is a beast, he is for a while, but way too haters.

He isn't under-rated at all, you can't even criticise the guy when he ****s up without half a dozen spaz hab fans jumping on you with "future HOFer!" and "Norris!".

He makes mistakes, but he's still young and inexperienced. It will get better. For his age the guy is a very good d-man...Hell, even if he never improves from how he is right now, he's still a guy every team would want to have.

As for his "cockiness"...Meh...I seriously think most people make that judgement without knowing a thing about him. Except for, well, how he looks.

He gets called "too NFL" and "too NBA" and "too Terrell Owens" on this site on a regular basis...Why doesn't anyone ever compare him to cocky hockey players like Roenick? Why is it always NFL and NBA?

He very well may become elite, but I had a good chuckle when you said he is underrated. Most people know where he stands.
