So what happens when a team that can't score meets and team that can't be not scored against?
Looks like Minny is sticking to it's 1 goal per game plan. Go team "can't be not scored against"! 3 period Avs implosion or has minny now clocked off for the night with their goal in the bag?
I watched "Becoming Wild" and I like Mike Yeo. Seems like a cool guy. Unfortunately based on the slow and lethargic way Minnesota is playing, they need to bring in a new coach. This is a team with a mobile defence...Spurgeon, Gilbert, Suter, and Brodin. The only mobile dman we have atm with Johnson injured is rookie Tyson Barrie (there's Hunwick too but he doesn't really do anything).
However Minnesota's defence looks slower than ours. I've come to the acceptance that Joe Sacco probably won't be fired but the Wild need to make that coaching change. I know Fletcher hired Yeo and it's always tough to be the GM who has to change the coach he hired but the team's not going anywhere with Yeo.
Good lord. It's hard for me to feel sorry for a division rival who once tormented the Canucks mercilessly, but this is really bad. Avs are missing their entire top line, and Shane O'Brien is in the top 4.
Pretty funny considering all the premature freeze calls earlier in the game while the puck was still loose.
Funnier that the team who spent the big bucks this past off season is still in a tied game with a team missing its top line(Landeskog-O'Reilly-Downie), its top defensive pairing(Johnson-Wilson) and not playing its starter(Varlamov)
