Will never happen with the contract Okposo is on. Jerk Off Snow and Jerk Off Wang have shown that they are willing to ice the worst team possible and will trade for a non-player to make the minimum cap.

Bernier has been a number one goalie everywhere hes played but in la. Forbort is our best defenseman for the future. He may not have played in the nhl but he being brought along slowly so he can get his degree and be nhl ready when we get him there. Hes penciled in as a top 4 min but could be a top pairing with drew in time. With the cap going down Okposo will be a expensive 3rd rw for la. Also the second is a issue with the kings not haveing a first i dont think they want to waint till the 60s for there first pick.

Not a bad counter. Add a second rounder and I'd do that

I think this works for both teams. Kings need D. Isles need a young #1 netminder

Done.

Isles don't extend Nabby for next season.

They go with Bernier/Poulin or Bernier/Nilson as they top 2.

i cant do the 2nd cause we will not go 60 picks without one. We dont have a first this year. Would right to moller or kozun any interest instead of the 2nd?

I like this deal from the Kings' perspective. Okposo can play on the 2nd or 3rd line with Carter or Richards, and Streit instantly revitalizes our blueline. We can either resign him or treat him as a playoff rental.

Do you have a particular desire for Forbort? He may become something special, but he's several years away. Somebody like Jake Muzzin is capable of playing 3rd pairing minutes in the here and now, with plenty of room to grow.

Bernier, Muzzin and a 2nd for Okposo and Streit I would be all over, but your initial proposal is still pretty intriguing.

Mark Streit was an all-star. He hasn't played at that level in 2 seasons. He's also only signed through this season and will be a rental.

Loads of potential is someone like Strome. Okposo has the potential to be a good 2nd liner.

I think it's a pretty fair deal..maybe a pick here or there to even out, certainly not a 2nd rounder. Picks are much more valued these days, they aren't just throw ins with the cap world. unless we're talking a 6th or something like that.

That is what I am saying. He will never be traded because he is on a cheap contract.

Not a chance LA touches this. Streit is not All-Star caliber anymore and Okposo's value is at an all-time low right now.

I wouldnt do that. The kings need that 2nd. I dont see dean waiting till the 3rd round to make there first pick. Even if it could be 90th overall

Isles are last in their division. Haven't made the playoffs since 2007.

Imo if they shop Streit, it'll be for players who can help beyond this season.

In another thread, I suggested we'd see Snow hold onto Streit until the trade deadline, then try to squeeze a late first out of someone.

No way, do I see Snow trading his top trade chips Streit/Vis for short term help.
