Meh... nice goal but not thread worthy... He just flipped it backhand and put it in. I thought it was some crazy dangling going on by reading some posts.

It's alright.
Was a lot more exciting live I'll give you that.

Whatever, still more entertaining than frame-by-frame analysis of Matt Cooke's left foot.

Yeah as a wings fan watching it live it was exciting especially when you find out its Tatar doing it. He actually looks pretty awesome out there

We're on a board with topics ranging from smelling salts to Jagr's mullet.

I think the standard for "thread worthy" is not quite as lofty as some posters might think.

This.

Solid play by a young kid.

you must not appreciate good goals and for that matter im questioning if you like hockey at all with this type of statement.

I didn't think this goal by clarke macarthur and kadri was near thread worthy but it's better than then 2 little stationary moves.
actually, this goal blows....you can score 10/10 times in NHL 13 w a cross crease goal, while tatars goal was skill.

+1

God I hate Cleary so much. I'd package him with a mid round pick to a team for free if it meant him not playing on this team anymore.

That's what I was thinking. It still takes a cool head to recognize the time and space you have in that situation. Pretty nice goal all in all.

I think the point is, it might be time to raise the standards, this goal is thread worthy for the Red Wings section, but quite obviously based on responses from non-Red Wing fans, it is not for this section.

That probably beats every goalie.
