Cooke stomps on his achilles.

Best part? The god damn puck went out of play seconds before and the refs didnt whistle it down.

if you can get suspended for stomping on a guy's foot, stomping on a guy's achilles will easily garner a suspension.
Do you actually think Cooke was intending to do that? Really?

Wow people are actually calling this play dirty? Get the F out of here if you actually beleive that. It was a puck battle and completely unintentional.

Here's hoping he's okay...he's the only player keeping Ottawa from last place.

I don't blame Cooke for that though.

Unintentional by Cooke but this does not look good.

If Karlsson is out the Sens kiss the playoffs goodbye.

Sucks when players go down with injury especially someone of Karlsson's caliber. Gotta feel for Sens fans.

I didn't think it was dirty; I just wish that hit didn't occur.

This team is going to miss Karlsson.

That didn't look good, but there's no way Cooke meant to do that.

Yeah, I really like to know what Cooke was trying to do with that skate. It's like he was going for the slewfoot but could quite catch up to pull it off.

The killer for Ottawa is that not 10 seconds before the puck went out of play and somehow all 4 officials missed it.

Didn't look intentional at all, reminiscent of Lang's injury in 09.

Hopefully it's just a minor cut to his calf. Sit out a couple games and let the cut heal.

You guys must have missed Cooke tearing Karlsson's severed tendon from his heel and carrying it around the ice triumphantly

It was Matt Cookie. Guilty until proven innocent.

Spare me the "he's changed, I swear!" garbage.

Obviously Cooke won't get the benefit of the doubt here. You really can't blame people for assuming he meant to do it.

Hope Karlsson will be okay.

Looked like it got him right above the back of the skate.

Obviously not intentional.
