Paramedics also you them too if you're passed out to help see if you snap out of it and wake up.

Bought a box once but only used them to put under the nose of buddies passed out drunk. They shoot up like a rocket. Pretty funny. Oh college.

The effect is pretty temporary. It's not a.stimulant that goes into your blood stream. It is basically like a slap in the face. Would that wake yiu up good, and for how long?

They shouldn't be. Wouldn't want someone snapping their head back when they have a neck injury.

How often can you use it? And is it dangerous if you would use it daily for instance? I'm just curious, I've never tried it or anything. And it's always good to know all there is to know about it. I'd like to try some before a test or something to see the impact it'd have on me lol!

Ammonia.
There are some ammonia based window cleaners that smell the same, but much less concentrated.

Extremely common to see used..

Hell, Gretzky used them before games when he coached. Didn't help him, sadly.

And they're actually called smelling salts....I'll always remember them as the first thing a trainer uses with a player (in any sport) that just got knocked out. Doesn't respond to smelling salts? He's out cold.

I do like them for hockey, however.

Used it on my travel hockey team before games.. It's basically the worst "smelling" thing you can ever imagine. And i put that in quotations because it doesnt smell like anything. It basically burns the **** out of your nose and sinuses. Wakes you up.

It burns the crap out of your nose and makes your eyes water, so thats why he is sniffing it briefly a couple times

What I love most about that Kovy vid is the last sniff he takes before throwing it away.
