tlusty is playing great for us right now, he has 5 goals and 4 assists, most of which have come in the last 2 games.

Also, we are thinking Westgarth is a scratch tonight:

Ellis is in goal tonight. Appears Westgarth will be healthy extra.

Don't think Westgarth is playing tonight.

He had a rough time here but I wish him nothing but succes, the guy is only 24 years old.

We have far too many capable wingers here already.
Rutherford was quite complimentary about him this morning, Paradis who we got for him is in part Percy and Leivo today.

In the end we traded Tlusty, Stalberg and Paradis for Leivo and Percy.

I don't think Westgarth and his 3 minutes a game with a staged fight really stops anybody from intimidating.

GLG.
Winner right here.

How the hell did you pull that off? I'm hoping my girlfriend even lets me WATCH the game tonight.

On a hockey note, I sure as hell think our chances have improved significantly now that we're facing Ellis.

Wow. No gleason or westgarth? The hurricanes might be the softest Team in the NHL. they are known as one of the softest teams even with westgarth and gleason lol. Ah well. They are still skilled. Gotta come out with a win here. Atleast get a point

Well we're on a four-game streak. I doubt they're hesitant to change much.

the next 6 games are all winnable - against non-playoff and/or struggling teams. Leafs need to take advantage.

Which begs the question why are FMac and Orr BOTH playing? Should they call someone up now that Frattin is on the IR- we don't need a useless 4th line of big lugs that can't skate against a margarine-soft team like this.

This 4th line is apart of the Leafs identity at the moment.

It would be crazy to break it up right now.

Jay McClement is a HUGE part of that identity- now he's apparently being moved up while Frattin is out. There is a big difference between McClement and Steckel- one can skate fairly well, the other is slower than Orr.
