Not to mention unemployment for those < 25 years old is >20%.

You're not missing anything. It's a so-so deal at best.

It's good, $10 f&b card for 100 level and lower. Upper level you save a few off box office.

I guess it's slightly cheaper than Stubhub right now, but my guess is you'll do better if you just wait and prices will come down.

Possibly, but maybe not, depending on what transpires in the next few weeks.
StubHub always a small risk too.

A number of group offers better than that deal at this link.

http://www.njdevs.com/forums/index.p...=130303&page=7

Plus only $2 worth of fees per ticket.

Just got my invite to the Hockey 101 thing...I wasn't even sure if I'd picked that or the VIP practice as my experience. Oh well, this works out cause at least I know I can make it. Odds are the VIP practice'll be during the week anyway

I've been to one of these career fairs and work (somewhat) in the industry. Outside desperate college students looking for an internship it's pretty hopeless, especially if you aren't the right major like most people that will be there.

Or willing to do inside sales. I'm sure there's probably plenty for that, especially in the case of the minor league sports teams there.

Let's hope Shaw will be in attendance and taking notes.

I'm going to be in lower Manhattan tomorrow and was thinking of taking the Path train to the game? How long does it usually take during rush hour? Should I just head uptown and try to catch a train out of Penn?

It takes about 20-25 minutes to Newark via PATH during rush hour usually. Much easier then going back up to Penn.

I got that email as well and I know we didn't choose that...I deleted it as I can't make it and have zero interest in going.

Probably chicken tenders and pizza, to be honest. He'll pop in for a period and disappear just as easy.

You a Springsteen fan? Talk about Bruce and you can get his ear for a bit.

I was curious too since I put it at the top of my list for next year. I figured catered meant a more diverse food selection but I'd take chicken fingers/pizza lol. What kind of drinks there, just water/soda/coffee?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's against an NJ law to give out free drinks? I don't know it applies in this situation, but I'm going to assume no booze included.

I got the email and I KNOW I never picked this. This is my first year as a STH -- wouldn't I have had to select this *last* year?

Whatever, I'm free that morning so I might as well check it out.

Gotta be the All-Star game if it's something.. actually legitimate.

Otherwise, it's probably some MMA fight.

Could be, but they may be stretching it calling that thing "global" and "epic". I can't remember the last time I actually watched the thing.

Maybe it's the world championship of curling?

But, yeah, probably some MMA thing....
