Travel / Away Games Question

I was just wondering as I was looking out my window here at work. Do the AHL teams always take a bus? For instance, Rochester is taking on Houston tonight in Rochester. Did Houston bus it here, or flew in? Pretty sure they always take a bus for the short distances, but what about the long ones?

Their next games are in Hamilton tomorrow, and Toronto Monday. My guess is flying here, then bus around and fly back to Houston from Toronto?

Most teams in the AHL (and ECHL, CHL -- both junior and minor league) travel between locations via bus.

HOWEVER, when major cross-country jaunts are done (e.g., Texas to New York, California to Florida, Idaho to Alaska), the teams usually fly to the region and bus around.
