No.
Just like I won't be shocked if the Oilers lose to the Wild tomorrow.

I'm looking forward to playing every team in the East twice next year

those defenses are soft and goaltending is shaky!

Onward an upward though.
And who is leading Ducks in goals this season . Bobby Ryan Corey Perry Selanne Getzlaf nope its Cogs Hope that 2nd turns out to be a player in 2017

They probably would, but our D/G has been solid this year overall. We've given up the same amount of goals as Van and Nashville. We just can't score.

I too look forward to more Eastern games next season. Eastern teams seem far easier to play against.

The Red Wings have dominated the Hawks today but they're still only winning 1-0 in the 3rd period. Lots of time yet for the Hawks to tie it and eke another one out.

On the back of a 28% shooting percentage. A career 12.5% guy shooting at more than double his career average over 20 games. In other words, he hasn't all of a sudden become Mike Bossey. He's the same player, it's just that recently, pucks have been bouncing the right way for him. Aside from his otherworldly shooting percentage (which won't last), he's been the same player offensively as he has been in every other season he's played in the NHL so far. Over an 82 game season, he's on pace for 119 shots, and 20 assists. Those are exactly the same as his career averages for those two stats.

Cogliano is not the answer to ANY of this team's woes. And this is from a guy who has generally been against the "NHL player for draft picks" trades we've been making for years.

Ugh. And Detroit gets a delay of game penalty very late in the 3rd. It will be a damn shame if Chicago's run continues on that penalty call. God, I hate that rule.

EDIT: ****!!!!!

The streak is getting closer and closer to dying

One of my buddies texted me and commented that Chicago is getting some friendly calls at very convenient times, keeping the streak alive.

I myself noticed how so many bounces go their way. It's crazy watching them right now.

I hope the streak goes all 48 games. We are never going to catch Chicago so they might as well steal points from everyone else that may be fighting us for a playoff spot.
