I keep telling you guys that the Flames are a bottom feeder without Kipper.

Of course they weren't winning with him either...

They are without a doubt... No major injuries or anything to hinder them what so ever.

Well, there's always the Kipprusoff argument, but yeah.

Then again maybe they're missing Backlund and Baertschi more than we'll ever know.

So torn on the flames game. I love watching the Flames crash and burn but it means the stars get 2 easy points and make it harder for us to make playoffs

And now it's tied.

You're terrible, Dallas.

Meanwhile we got Backstro-I mean Lehtonen twice.

Just do us a favour and fold, Dallas.

Dallas is lucky that Lehtonen's injury came during a bit of a break in their schedule. If he's out a week they'll only miss him for a couple of games.

They have to be a bottom two or three team in the league without Lehtonen. Worse than Calgary without Kiprusoff.

I realize that pro-rating stats and such is hazy at best. But when you compare Hall to Tavares in each of their first 2 seasons it is almost identical in regard to point per game production.

Tavares year one: 0.67 PPG
Hall year one: 0.65 ppg
Tavares year two: 0.85ppg
Hall year two: 0.87ppg
Tavares year three: 0.99ppg
Hall year three: ??? (currently 1.07 ppg in 14 games played)

Hall is tracking right along with how Tavares has started his career. In an almost eery fashion to be honest. Although Hall was a better goal scorer in his first 2 seasons.

I am beginning to hate Dallas more than any other team in the league.

Screw you Dallas!

It's one thing if Dallas can't handle the likes of Tanguay, Iginla and the like...

but they got beat by scrubs like Horak, Stajan, and Begin.

Lehtonen is honestly a Vezina caliber goaltender. He's been buried on not-so-great teams all his career but the guy is a very elite goalie. Dallas will definitely miss him.

The refs helped them get to OT. First Dallas backup beats them, now St.Louis' 3rd string rookie beats them. Of course they blew multiple leads again. Their D is soo over-rated.

Don't be surprised if lehtonen got a groin injury. He's had groin problems his entire career

I think it's safe to say the Islanders are still a lottery team.

Flyers 7, Islanders 0

What's with Nabakov?

Is he so unhappy that he is just stinking it up?

18 saves on 25 shots?

Bad teams give up bad games. A 7 - 0 drubbing probably had less to do with the goaltender(who they didn't pull), and more to do with how the team played in front of him.

I just went to this game. Islanders totally wasted a two minute 5 on 3 and were outmatched all the way. Nassau Coliseum has lots of history but is a wasteland compared to MSG and Prudential Center. I'm going to Barclays for a Nets game tomorrow.
