You just can't comprehend that Brad Richards is, always has been, and always will be a better player than Ryan Getzlaf, who is one of the most overrated players in the game and has spent his entire career padding his stats playing spoon-fed minutes one of the best young power forwards in the league, a Hart trophy winner, and a Hall of Famer.
If you think Richards is playing bad, just wait until you see what Getzlaf does. Less for more money.
Too much in this post...
Any person with hockey knowledge or any person who actually plays hockey knows Ryan Getzlaf is a superior player, and superior talent than Brad Richards.
It's really not even a debate. Compliance buyout Richards, and use the money to sign Getzlaf.
27 years old, in his prime, with something to prove and being inspired to play again with Nash.
Oh yeah, and 'FREE BOYLER' you're one of those guys...
I think getting hemmed in our own end and absolutely struggling to gain zone entry is a sign of being outclassed. The Bruins made us our *****es last game.
They barely had any good chances. It wasn't this cluster**** that we're watching where every time they're in our zone we turn it over and they have a great chance. Worst game since the 10-11 season at the latest. I haven't seen this team get dominated this badly in at least 2 seasons.
Very debatable, but I'll just agree to disagree on the blame Biron should be getting on those two goals versus the blame on the other players on the ice.
The two on one is different. Do I think Hank stops that? Hell yes. Do I blame Biron for not stopping it? No.
But the go ahead goal shouldn't have gone in.
I am a goalie, and while it wasn't in hockey, I believe that says something about my opinion on the topic.

Ah yes, the "you don't agree with me, so you don't play hockey or know about it" argument.
Except not, since we always do the same thing against the Bruins and often win. Their zone time is more often than not feeding the puck to the point and letting it go. Hank eats that **** up. Barely domination.
That's domination. They control and tilt the ice to their pace. Rangers play to defend against them, even when trailing.
Quote:
We scored three goals, and I don't want to hear **** about Stralman's goal being a softy since Lucic's was a hand pass and shouldn't have counted.
Not just about goals. The Bruins were outmuscling the Rangers for pucks, gaining zone entry time, making efficient breakouts. Complete opposite by the Rangers.
Wow, they kept the puck in the offensive zone and did nothing with it. Clearly, the Islanders were "dominating" and the Rangers started to take a nap.
Islanders didn't have a shot in the first 15 minutes and still finished with 6 or 7 shots. Then they continued it into the second and scored in the first 30 seconds. But believe what you want.
Just tuned in, was it Maety that's letting in goals or bad game from team?
Both. Though the team is worse than Marty. After the first 10 minutes or so the Rangers have been so badly dominated that they made last year's Blue Jackets look good.

So, if I would have been playing hockey for 20+ years and my full time job as of now includes goaltender coaching that would make my opinion, what exactly?
