Constable Slewidge, world's best anthem

Sens have brought up another young unproven anthem singer from the Minors for tonight's game against the Blue Team. Call me a traditionalist but I don't like it. THUMBS UP for Slewidge!

I don't have a problem with switching it up in the regular season, I just hate it when ppl try to put their on spin on the national anthem. Your obviously talented,or they would not have picked you to single the national anthem to begin with. Just sing it the way it is suppose to be sung.

I wish they'd just get rid of the anthems in all sporting events. Slewidge is good though.

Too much tradition to get rid of them.

Late night visits by my wifes' drunken Irish relatives is a big tradition at our house. I can still wish it wasn't so.

Didn't see the anthem singer tonight, but Slewidge is definitely one of the best in the business.

Agreed. Boring tradition. Should replace it with a live gangsta rap battle.

I'd like to see them just play the home team's anthem.

No chance for classless fans to boo another team's anthem that way.

I was complaining about where he was tonight, then I found out I was sitting beside the guy that sang tonight's girlfriend. Awkward..

Slewidge 24/7! Sens should play a video of Slewidge when he can't make it... Anyone else just doesn't cut it!

I love the anthems, and hope they never get rid of it. It's the calm before the storm.

The anthems before a sporting event are a stupid, stupid tradition that makes absolutely no ****ing sense and is grounded in nothing but appealing to the lowest common denominator with nationalistic propaganda

And the fact that we have to sit and hear it all the freaking time isn't helped when they get awful singers like last night

At least Slewidge makes it tolerable

Slewidge is good for sure but it would definitely be more enjoyable if a hot girl did it.

Meh I've never been a big fan slewidge and I'm on the who cares about anthems during regular season games side.

Although MandyAlwaysKnows has a point. If they brought in eye candy then I likely would be ok with it before a game
