I'm surprised that you'd say this. A bit off topic, but do you think that he was given a proper evaluation in the games he played this year, Jet?

Honestly: it'd be tough for him to compete, but a good challenge, and he's become a sniper. We could definitely use that - in his games here, he carried over his knack for finding those dangerous spots in front of the net.

But I digress. Go Thorburn Go!
It'not just Thorburn that sucks, aside from Ladd, Kane, Little and Burmi none of our forwards have any fight, grit or heart. Can the Jets lose Jonki and Wellwood sooner than later, both pure crap.

And you agree he was given every chance to be successful in his short stint with the big club? Dude, wake up.

Agree. No fight from about 70% of the forwards at this point.

Ok.
Hainsey has really slipped in the past 5-6 games, pretty sure everyone else has noticed as well, he was good early on not so much now.

Really like what I have seen from Tangradi thus far. Keeps this up he will be a major upgrade over Poni. Also, there is zero doubt in my mind that Redmond deserves to be an NHL regular.

The last game Scheff played as a Jet he looked good, of course he saw more than 10 minutes and was playing with Little and Ladd. Some guys thought he could light it up playing on the fourth line with Thorburn and getting 6 minutes of ice time.

I honestly thought it wasn't appropriate to bring him in at all this year. With the lockout and lack of TC/ exhibition, we pretty much knew he wouldn't be sticking.

I don't think he is ready yet. He may be too good for the OHL but he is not yet an NHL'er. He belongs in the AHL but unfortunately that is not an option. Every team should be allowed one exemption to the AHL age rule.

Wellwood has made several very good plays this game. A few good turnovers and good plays to keep the puck in the offensive zone.

Fight/Effort does not equal Hits.

That, I agree with. He's currently stuck in tweener land - too good for the O, not old enough for the A.

I am wide awake. I don't believe because youngsters are new and shiny, that they are NHL ready. Mark is not, yet. We are not desperate to have him up here. Take your time, develop him properly.

We have lots of experienced guys that are at least as good as what even the most optimistic fans think Scheifele is now, and most of them aren't scoring much. I'm not sure why Scheifele would be doing any better. He didn't give any sign of it when he was up, except in the third period of a blowout. He's going to be a good player, but even though with more ice time he might have a couple goals by now, he's not what we're lacking..

The last two games make me think the Jets are really unlucky at the moment. They're going to burst out with a lot of goals at some point soon. Hopefully very soon.

Quoted for the truth, Detective.

Nobody would suggest that 55 would be a saviour, bur the kid has a nose for the net. However, playing with Slater and Thor for 12 minutes a game is not a "fair shake"

Lets just agree to disagree. You and I will never be on the same page with regards to 55.

My biggest pet peeve about the MTS crowd is when they decide to get on the other goalies case by calling his name... THEY SAY IT TOO FAST!!! It sounds like they're cheering him on!!! Draw it out, make him feel it!
