I think Calgary is going to come out hard after the night before last. The Blues are going to have to start strong and protect Allen by playing some good shut down hockey.
I have no issue with someone saying the Blues are a better team than the Flames, they have every right to say that, because quite frankly the Blues are a better team. However I took offense to someone saying we are one of the worst teams in the league when it is simply not the case. There is a difference between pumping your teams tires and being blatantly ignorant and misinformed.
And apparently that difference offends you enough to invade another team's GDT.
I'm just going to warn you, most fans are "misinformed" about Calgary, it likely has something to do with how your team has performed in the most recent years.
I'm really happy Allen is in net again tonight. He did a lot of in-game adjustments while playing against a team that can easily light up a rookie goaltender. I think we'll see a pretty good game from him tonight.
Crossing my fingers the rest of the team is ready to go.
Let it be known, especially for you lurking Calgary fans, that it's not that I'm trying to pick on the Flames. I'm just trying to explain the position they're in with numbers...You know, instead of just trahing them like the rest of this site.
Which Blues team shows up tonight? The one that played the final 30 minutes in Detroit, or the one who sucked the previous 5 games and the first 30 minutes in Detroit? Two completely different teams.

I want the 2nd period Blues. The 3rd was okay at best.
If this game is a set back and we play terrible, it could really send us into a tailspin. If we lose, and play well for at least part of the game, I think we'll be okay. We just can't lay another egg.
