Besides, who the **** would want to be like Axl Rose anyways? Vince Neil is a lot more "rock proofed".

Tobias to be dominating the field in his genre is a bit less impressive than Bruce being able to hang in the top tier in his.

It is like saying that the winner of SEL scoring race is the best player in the world.

One of these artist's compete in the hardest genre in the world. (Not technical, but the amount of other bands/solist's and the amount of fans)
Opposed to a guy who is only going to make the top-10 lists in Sweden, Finland and Germany.

A bit difference on the discography there.

But it is probobly impossible for him to have Avantasia and be like Rose, since all the guest stars also want a piece of the pie, and on tour.

Avantasia's latest albums reached top 10 in more than 3 countries, and Tobias was voted as the best song writer in the world 2010 by Burn (Japan). He is quite huge in SA too.



But i have to say, he is a little guns n roses on the track Runaway Train. I get some UYI feelings from it.

Maybe if it was less bombastic and more hardrock.

Tobias is awesome. I was at Edguy's gig at Finnish Metal Expo. It was pretty much one year past from this. The guy was total dynamite in live performance.

I was working for few weeks in Kotka city harbor three years a go. I remember listening Avantasia-Avantasia song in repeat from my iPod.

Seen Edguy live too, it was awesome <3 Tobi came out from a giant octupus in the middle of the audience and flew up too the roof, it was hillarious
Scorpion drummer James Kottak played before Edguy, he was crazy and entertaining. When Edguy played, he came out on the stage with just a towel and flashed his dick (which he had a sock on) for the entire audience, Tobi had no idea what to say then

But i thought that Avantasia was cooler, even tho i waited in line for over 1.5h before i got in, than another 1h and saw a 3h show. My legs was dead at the end But seeing singers such as Kiske, Hansen, Catley and Jorn togheter with Sammet was magic.
