Was watching the game, and there was a pop-up for a tv show. It immediately reminded of much music's pop-up video.
Thought it would be cool if fox/nbc did a pop up video edition of a hockey game based on random facts around players, and things totally outside of hockey. It has the potential to be hilarious and to learn some interesting, and perfectly useless, information about the teams playing.
Not true: In peewee, prust lead his team in goals and penalty minutes. racking up 78 goals and 300 penalty minutes.
I think it would be much more successful than the following of the puck. would be a good marketing tool to teach fans, and new fans, about the game.
I want lasers. Heck even better: I want, after each goal, drunken bears with lasers ridding unicorn while singing La Bamba. I know it would be difficult to put in place because bears can’t sing but that’s what I want.
