I am a borderline psycho in my defense of Dunkin' Donuts. If I ever saw someone trashing Dunkin' Donuts for no reason I would lose it.

Never been to Dunkin. I'd imagine Tim Horton's is better though.

Fritters are definitely not donuts. Sounds like this girl was just doing her job exactly as directed.

Tim's was good when they made **** fresh in the resto and not half cooked it in some factory and then flash froze it before shipping it out. Ugh sucks for the most part now.

Who thinks fritters and coffee rolls are donuts? They are fritters and coffee rolls. You ordered six donuts, not six pastries. And the people in line weren't annoyed at Sheryl. They were annoyed at you...as they should have been.

She stated that the coffee rolls were also a special item and that I could not include them in my half dozen. I explained to her that I had purchased coffee rolls before and they were not considered a special item and to please put the rolls into the bag. She refused and repeated that they were considered a special item. I pointed out that there were NO SIGNS ANYWHERE stating what were "special" items versus non-special items. I said "what about the peanut-covered donuts?" which were at the bottom, below the coffee rolls. She said they are eligible for the half-dozen.
Wouldn't the menu boards have a separate price listed for coffee rolls and fritters, that make them more expensive than regular donuts?

I'm pretty sure fritters count as donuts at Tim Horton's if that makes you feel better.

Yes, this is definitely the best part. They were clearly upset at the psychotic customer who was demanding a refund of $4. And it certainly isn't uncommon to need a manager to process a refund.
