Yeah, you said none do include them - then I did a 2.4 second search using the internet and provided you the link where clearly they do.

Evidence.

I am a donut expert. Here is my opinion.

Evidence.

Besides, what an independent donut producer does is not relevant. Keep up. The guy's in Dunkin Donuts. If he doesn't want to play by their rules, he can go to another establishment. There was no need for him to complain and whine when he was inconveniencing people by demanding a 40 cent refund.

You seem oblivious to the basics of donut advertising/modeling. You are clearly NOT an expert.

Correct, but it's your dealings with ALL donut shops that influence your expectations.

If, as the OP states, they do not designate the fritters/coffee rolls differently on the menu price-wise, and typically independent donut dealers allow such transactions (along with Tim Horton's) why in the name of god would he NOT expect them to include them??????????

Because they're not donuts? Come on, "expert", you know better than this.

You're posting stock photos from Dunkin Donuts as your evidence of what kind of donuts are included.

When making an advertisement they will want 12 equally sized, perfect looking donuts. The fritters and coffee roles are the ******* cousins - they're ugly, as such they wouldn't be included in stock photos.

They would throw off the feel of the pic.

But if you google DD pics that people got from the store, they don't have fritters or coffee cake either.

A jelly stick counts as a donut. Why not a fritter?

Just checked, a coffee role is listed as a donut on their website btw.

You can check for yourself if you like.

But we're deviating from the real issue. The guy didn't want to pay 40 cents extra for these products. That's the main issue. Held up the line because of that.

I mean, we can squabble all we want about technicalities, but at the end of the day, there are people waiting in that damn line. They're coming back from work, hungry, they want some donuts to bring home to their family. And this guy here, he holds up that line, because he is squabbling about what is "special" and what is not.

In the end, he put himself over the community. His ego and narcissism showed no bounds, and total lack of respect for those around him. I am appalled and ashamed by this egregious behavior.

How is this an issue? Why are people getting worked up about this?

Wait, they're priced differently? I missed that.

OP sucks then.

Indeed, the OP sucks. I hope he enjoyed those donuts after all the trouble he put that poor cashier through.

I didn't think about it until it was too late to be funny which I guess is lucky since I didn't know they were prohibited now.
