Very well deserved for a great player and an even greater person. As a fan, I'm grateful for the amazing hockey the sedins have given us over the years.

I don't think anyone was happier for Henrik than Burr- the puck wasn't in the net that he was rushing over to congratulate him - Burr's post game interview said it all.

Its such a treat to watch Henrik Sedin dish the puck. He is my favorite Sedin & plays like the record breaking point are why. Couldn't be happier that he is our All Time Leading scorer either. Was our first Hart Trophy Winner, Captained us to a Cup final, is tremendous in the community, destined to play entire career as a Canuck & most importantly is a great guy.

I'll be wearing my H. Sedin jersey today for sure

Awesome for Hank. He's been such a stud for this team.

If I'm not mistaken it took him 21 more games than Naslund, I'd be more impressed if he did it in fewer games as it stands it was inevitable baring some horrific accident.

reaction from the fans was nice though.

Don't forget Naslund came over as an established NHL player and was playing first or second line minutes from day one.

The Sedins came in as rookies and were third line players and had to work their way up.

Pretty sure the Sedins (Individually) played more games in Sweden before coming into the NHL than Naslund did

Naslund was 23 before his first full season with the canucks (10 gp in the season prior) whereas Henrik was 20 in his first season.

Pretty large difference -- not to mention the state of the team/place on the depth chart.

I think it's pretty safe to say that Henrik has been a better Canuck than Naslund in terms of both career achievement and prime.

I misunderstood what the other guy was saying, but yes 3 years is big at those ages.

I disagree about it being safe to say Henrik is better though.

How the **** is this thread only 2 pages long?? Come on people. I think Nucks fans take the Sedins for granted far too much.

Great to see Hank get the monkey off his back and take over the franchise scoring lead. He's got a few years left in him (Daniel, too), and I could see them both pushing towards the 1,000 point mark before it's all said and done.

Yes, this kind of not so small factors are really getting at my nerves too. I wonder what Henrik will do next in this way?

The twins are the best players to ever play for Vancouver. Bure is the best on the ice and is my favorite all time player, but the Sedins as humans are fantastic.

You'd be hardpressed to find better individuals representing Vancouver. Their involvement in the community and class are second to none. Not even thinking of donating money, all the little things we hear about them doing for fans is just incredible.

In terms of on the ice they aren't the most physically gifted athletes but they are some of the hardest working. The improvements they have made over the years have been monumental and I honestly can't say many people would have ever predicted them being this good after their first few seasons ( including themselves). On top of that they have taken less money on every contract they have signed in Vancouver, and despite the media and fans getting on them early on, I have yet to see them whine or not take responsibility. What better role models could you have for the young players coming up?

Congrats to Henrik Sedin... I hope they continue to play here until they decide to hang them up...getting over 1000 points in a Vancouver uniform would be something special

I wonder if Naslund got "choked" up when his record got broken.
