Remember Schenn vs Subban vs Karlsson in the poll board? LOL

At least that was before last season, I think. Habs' board was adamant that Subban was better even when Karlsson was 20+ points ahead of the next defenseman. That takes homerism (is that a word?) to a whole another level.

Anyways, we better pay a lot of attention to Kessel. He always plays well against us, and please not a lot of PPs for the Leafs, I hope. I think that's where the game might be decided.

Interesting stat of the day:

Leafs - 1st in the NHL in PP-PK time
Sens - 26th in the NHL in PP-PK time

Ouch.

Don't worry, Kessel has been struggling a lot lately. Probably won't need to worry scoring. Him and his whole 2 goals

Gunnarsson and Gardiner both played top 4 minutes last year.. Gardiner had a couple 10 game stretches where he played 25+ mins a night.

Obviously you guys have it worse but we still have a bunch of injuries to key players.

With our luck, this will be his bounce-back game

flowzie, as i'm sure you now know from seeing the thread I posted on the main board, we're a gonchar injury away from paying our injured players more than our entire playing roster.

Ottawa's penalty killing better be good. The game against Carolina was the first game where the Leafs had less powerplays than their opposition this year - no surprise there, either.

If Leafs don't win this by 3 or 4 goals, it will be embarrassing for them.

They have an AHL goalie in net, we have just as much chance to win this game. Have some faith.

This is a good game to take out all their frustrations out on the Leafs for all the crap that has happened to Ottawa so far this yr.

Not sure why Leaf fans are already queuing up the excuses. This game doesn't really mean anything. It's not exactly the battle of the titans.

We are going to get a beatdown reminscent of the days we used to beat the Leafs by a touchdown. This one's going to hurt in a big way. Ottawa can't even out-tough them, they're superior in every way except for the net right now.

It sucks with your loss of Spezza and Karlsson but we are without important players too.
Lmao. I wouldn't trade Karlsson for your entire team and you're trying to compare injures.
