Weren't there some here that were clamoring for Kostitsyn in the off-season?

Most likely it was to take a flyer on Andrei (the UFA).

Errr it was Andrei... And its not a flyer.

He was the Predators 2nd best player during the playoffs and he is major part of Traktors playoff success right now.

Oh yeah and the fact he would of been hell of a lot better than any of the other jackasses put on the top line LW.

Would have been an interesting bet. Totally would have depended on the price for Sergei as well though.

I'm the only one I know here who really wanted any (Andrei), and I mostly wanted him for his solid playoff performances, the fact that he's a top 6 forward who hits regularly and the fact that our winger situation behind Ovechkin was worst in the league. Still stand by it.

Never really thought that much of Sergei though he seems like most of the time he's a solid player. I think that play was more dumb than lazy. Laich, Backstrom, Hannan all had plays where it seemed like they inexplicably quit and no one ever accused them of pure lazy.

No they came late an hour after curfew which was because they went to a restaurant that was pretty far away and they had to wait longer than they expected.

The Canadian media came out and was lying that it was 4 AM they came back and were partying.

True, but they did look kinda drunk in a playoff game.

They were fine, Radulov and Kostitsyn were their best players in the playoffs.

Canadian media had to redirect blame that should of been on Weber and his absolute **** performance defensively and offensively.

It sucks that the media already has shown they think that if you are the best player on the best team, that disqualifies you from winning the hart, because Kane is a beast. 16G 21A with his 3 points tonight.

5th in NHL scoring and more than 10 points behind Crosby (who, incidentally, is in a "best player on the best team" situation and will probably win the Hart).

Watch him get nothing and they bring up no prior history. If they do that Ovechkin should use that as evidence they used his punishments that were over 18 months old against him and violated the CBA.

HFBoards. "He's a goal scorer who cares?" not one person ever said in reference to Ovechkin, the winger, but for the center, yeah go ahead.
