Sens are limping into the ACC tonight, their lineup is looking tearible. Hopefully Phil has the precision of a surgeon tonight and can pot a few. Very winnable game, I think a 70% effort should cut it tonight.

Great GDT! Looking forward to this one. A test of heart as both teams are battered.

OTT missing 1C, 1D

TOR missing 1LW, 1G.

Tough losses all around.

If we win it will be on depth and toughness. Or a great game by Phil the Thrill.

The spirit of Aki Berg will help this team crush the sens 8-0.

Normally i would agree....but this is Dave God Dam Keon we're talking about. I'll be at the game, and i don't care how long it goes for.....i'll be standing and cheering the whole time.

I know both teams are decimated with injuries and most people think this is a W for the Leafs but people are forgetting that this is a rivalry game.

You don't think the Sens would be fired up to show their coach and their GM that the season is not over?

I think this will be a close game.

At least we will get our guys back much sooner than the Sens get theirs.

Anyway, Anderson is about due to come back down to earth a bit. Nobody will have a save % near 95 the whole season.

Injuries or not, this game is against a divisional rival who is currently tied in the standings.

Definitely a game where, win or lose, you have to be firing at all cylinders.

Everything points to Anderson standing on his head and shutting the Leafs out again then. When have the Leafs ever made anything look easy?

That right there is the best answer.

Leafs never make anything easy.

This team can play Pittsburgh and win, but lose to the Sens.

I just don't think that Anderson can keep playing at his current pace. Hopefully his cool down has started already in their previous game.

Difference being that aside from Frattin (lupul injury) and maybe 1 dman (gunnar injury) they all earned a spot on roster. The Sens have called up AHL players due to necessity.

Doesn't matter really in the end. Young players are susceptible to emotional dips and valleys. Who knows what we'll get tonight.

They are ALL regular NHL players. Cowen was supposed to be the #2 defenseman, but continue on...

I don't give a damn about how many player they got injured, or how many we got.

Just need to go out there and try and win every puck battle. Need effort like against Philly. Last game was a bummer. I don't care if we lose in spite of the effort. GO LEAFS GO

FYI - Lineup changes

http://www.thestar.com/sports/leafs/..._carolina.html
Quote:
Carlyle’s lineup changes will see Jay McClement moving to the wing with centre Mikhail Grabovski and Nikolai Kulemin.

Winger Leo Komarov returns to the third line with centre Nazem Kadri and Clarke MacArthur.

Mike Brown returns from the injury list (he missed eight games with a shoulder strain) to play with centre David Steckel and Colton Orr on the fourth line, as Frazer McLaren sits for the first time since being claimed Jan. 31 on waivers from the San Jose Sharks.

Sens will grind it out to make it a close game. If the Leafs lose...these boards should be fun tonight.
