To me best fit for Barkov and vice versa is Nashville. #1 C spot in the future playing all important situations including offensive. In TB he would be stuck behind Stamkos playing more of a 2nd centre shutdown role. Unless TB creates PP line as St. Louis-Barkov-Stamkos. Barkov would dig the puck out of the corners and hit rebounds in or screening where he is very good at.

Can everyone please settle this debate for me, which would you rather have, Barkov or Couturier?

Maybe not in NA because they don't shove money to celeb's to get more visiblity. They still do make nicer looking clothes than most of the popular brands in NA in my opinion.

Yes, actually when i have think this long, i hope that too. Nashville has almost everything, one of the best goalies, one of the best "D" group and red carpet to the first line center spot, who i hope is Barkov. But Florida and now Tampa sounds scary to take Sasha before Nashville.

Yeah older brother Jura Barkov who was a talented tennis player once. Not sure about other siblings. His father Alexander Sr. is a former Tappara icon and russian national team hockey player. His mother Olga is a former Soviet olympic basketball player. He has athletic genes.

Ville Nieminen about Barkov:

-I've said the past 5 years that he looks everyday more and more like Joe Thornton (as a player)

-His nature/character/personality is like with Joe Sakic

-His hands are like with magician, mikeribeiro-style

Having fully accepted what happened months ago, the closer we get to the draft the more the sickening feeling that the Sabres played their way out of a definite top 5 pick creeps back into my belly. No chance of making the playoffs yet they made their annual playoff push anyhow in the worst possible year while in the best possible position (last in conference at one point).

They would have been guaranteed an awesome shot at Barkov, my favorite prospect in a few years. Barkov-Armia would have been a great young tandem.

Nashville crapped its way through a down year and now in all likelihood are going to get the franchise center they always lacked. I suppose I like that scenario more than most, that organization deserves a break like this.

Shades of Kopitar in this kid and I wouldn't put it past him to be a little bit better in either or both ends.

Antti Mäkinen is explaining a scenario in Twitter how Boston had traded Tyler Seguin to Colorado for the 1st overall pick, and then drafted Barkov... still a possibility of course.

Such a clueless rumour. As if Avs were willing to give up McKinnon for Seguin!? Barkov will go at #4 to Nashville. And everybody knows that.

I don't think that's the case at all. He could go to Nashville, but it's entirely possible that the Panthers or especially the Lightning will take him.

Huberdeau-Barkov-Bergenheim

I'm 90% sure that this line will be together at least for preseason.
